High Arches This is the amount of space between the highest point of the mid-sole and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes will take the pressure off your feet as your move, and stop the foot from rolling.
Wide Heels This is the width of the heel in comparison to the midfoot. A narrow heel will be slimmer than the midfoot whilst a wider heel will be broader than the midfoot. If a shoe is too deep across the instep it can encourage excess movement. If the shoe is too shallow, it will be too tight and will irritate the top of the foot.
High Foot Height This is the highest point of your foot (called the midfoot and often found underneath the laces) and the ground. Correctly fitting shoes provide stability at the heel and will ensure there is no slipping or irritation at the Achilles tendon.
Wide Feet This is the widest point of your feet, generally the forefoot. A shoe that is too tight can lead to tension, blisters, and irritation at the ball of the foot. A shoe that is too loose will decrease stability and can encourage side-to-side movement and rolling.

The Ascent Sigma has a steel free Australian standard safety toe (AS/NZS 2210:3-2009 Approved Expoxy Fibreglass) within the oiled full grain leather upper. The toe cap has also been reinforced with a TPU toe wear protector which is excellent for added durability within the upper.
Outsole

This outsole is unique as it is oil, acid & slip resistant (water on tiles), has non marking TPU materials and 4cm lugs for grip on uneven surfaces
Midsole

Poron' (heel & forefoot) cushioning and 'Insulon' (heel) cushioning will ensure that you have a boot that is comfortable to work in all day while the dual stability bridge 'crib' thermoplastic midfoot stabiliser provides you with the support you require. Together, these features deliver a 'workboot that you can run in'
Interior

Interior

Maintaining the safety standards the Sigma has an anti-static cushioned insole that prevents the build up of static electricity. The interior has then been surrounded with Drilex, a moisture management liner for added comfort and breathability
