The entire water pump is operated by hand and is very easy to use. By moving the handle up and down water is pumped from the ground and flows Out from the water tap. Made of cast iron it is strong and durable. The pump has a 38 mm (1 1/2") female fitting AT the bottom and a PVC or stainless steel pipe needs to be connected to the fitting (either with a male threaded fitting or a hose connector) to divert water into the pump. The stand makes the pump taller providing a more comfortable operating position. The stand is suitable for most hand pumps with 4 x 12 mm mounting holes AT the bottom. The pump and stand can be used separately. Please note that the delivery only includes the water pump and stand. It is recommended to empty the pump during winter to prevent freezing.
